Im 100% satisfied with my Boxster.
99' with 55k of love!
Things I have fixed this past year I have had it but still love it;
1. oil seperator & "J" tube,$108.50
2. MAF(caused by K & N),$223.50
3. A bolt to the intermediate shaft connecting to the throttle body snapped in half when I tried to remove it so I had to replace the whole part ($23.00)
All D.I.Y.

I am also quite happy with my 987 Boxster S. It does not have the fit and finish of my TT, but it is nice enough. The drive train and the brakes are absolutely fantastic.

I will add to this thread that after spending today driving my old 86 Carrera I am pleased with that as well, after 12 years of ownership that car never bores me.. I wish the build quality of the my 986S was as good as that old 911.

I love my boxster - would only consider changing it if the demands from the kids to come along get too loud.
The reasons are clear, and to support them here are the results of the German TUV:
the list shows the top cars with the least number of faults per 100 cars tested.

No, No milage consideration is given, but the 911 wins the 8-9 years and the 10-11 years categories as well and quite some of these are very high milage (200k km)
Porsches on average have lower kms than other cars, I'd estimate about 10k km per year is normal.

I just turned over 75k on my Boxster with the following repairs to date:
32k - Front right wheel bearing
46k - Rear right wheel bearing
Other than regular maintenence, this is it for repairs on my Boxster!
