I've thought about painting my T in Seal Grey. I think the silvers and chromes would look sweet against it! Much the same way, I think the white lamps look best. Very sophisticated w/o being "bling".

my .02 is stay with the colored ones. i also have an 02S Seal Gray and I think the clear ones look "ricey" It depends on how much you like to keep your car as it come from the factory. mods are great, but as a former harley guy back to the Pcar fold, let me tell you they can go wild (both in quantity and $$$)

But then again, I'm a new guy to the forums (not to Porsche) so who cares what I think???

later

i know it is the stock '03, but i see so many clears on the "fast and furious" eclipses/wrx's/civics, etc. running around i felt porsche bowed a little bit when they went to that look in '03. also the '03 had the different rear diffuser around the exhaust and new front end, etc. I like the cleaner look of our style body also.

Just personal preference, the porsche clears are fine as long as you don't go with some aftermarket thing, it will be cool.

Good luck,

Jeff

Those are not the ones I was discussing. They look good. There is still some color there. I must have seen aftermarket ones that looked totally clear/white glaze frost color and looked like dung.

I've not seen those you speak of...but they do sound too ricey! Completely clear wouldn't work on these lamps.

Thanks! Yes, I put a new front bumper on it shortly after purchase. We're supposed to run front license plates here in O-Hi-O and the previous owner's plate and/or bracket made some significant dents in the bumper. I took the opportunity to ugrade the look a little bit. I was going to put a GT3 911 style bumper on it, but wasn't sure how it would look w/o the rest of the "kit". In the end, a factory replacement was cheaper anyway. I think this design looks more like the prototype that I fell in love with way back when...

Be sure to post more pics when you get your clears on!

Well the good thing about living in the Cinci area is we're bordered with two states that don't require a front plate...so it's not something that get's a lot of attention. The last car I had a front plate on was the white '95 Subaru wagon I had with my first Boxster. Nobody has bothered me in six years!

...knock on wood!
