Hello~
Is there a write up on here that can tell someone how to get to the top half of a boxster engine?

Pull up handbrake
Turn key to "on" position but don't start
Pull open convertible top release
Push button to open the top a little ways so the rear deck lid is at about a 45 degree angle
Get out of car
Release fabric flap that is connected via two clips at the rear of the engine bay. Push the plastic bar down, and it will come out of the clips
On each side there is a cable with a ball and socket end. Pop those off
Pull up on back of convertible top, folding the rear window in half (Make sure it folds evenly and in the middle)
Turn clips holding carpet in place.
Remove rear Bose speaker or cubby hole towards the rear
Remove carpet
Undo 5 latches that hold the top cover in place.

Should take all of 30 seconds.

PorscheDoc could write the manual except that it takes more than 30 seconds. Maybe a couple of minutes after you've done it a few times. Not a big deal. It's in the manual.
