Default Car Wash

Is it safe to have your car washed in a car wash? Is the top water tight? Won't the brushes from the car wash damage or destroy the top? TIA!

Just don't do it!!! I have doneit once and regreted it. There is minor leakage due to the fans blowing everything back on the car. When I thought about it, I decided just a really bad thing to do... Car Washes use bad checmicals to get things looking clean and they recylce their water...We have a '98 Boxster...

I use one often on my 01, especially in the winter. Other than a few leaks at the roof to windshield gasket, no worries.

I use a no touch car wash that you just drive into, it has no wheel ramps or guides, its just like driving into your garage.

Go to a hand wash place. I don't fear the bristles, but they don't seem to get all the places a human does. Here's mine at a local wash in Woodland Hills, CA
