Good independent shop in Socal / Inland Empire?
Hi folks:
I posted this in ppbb.com, but got zero responses believe it or not, so hopefully there's more socal people on this board:
A buddy and I both have Boxsters nearing the dreaded "end of warranty" period. I figure it would be a good time to start looking for a quality independent shop with good service/workmaship/prices.
Any place you guys can recommend in Socal? Preferrably, some place as West as Pasadena, as East as the deep reaches of I.E. and south as the outer fringes of O.C. would be great.
Of course, we are willing to drive a bit to get good service, so anyplace within 1 hr from the Ontario area would be great.
Thanks!

You can start with Vision (http://www.visionmotorsports.com), they are in Lake Forest. I'm not sure how much service work they do as they have been doing a LOT of racing as of late. Dwain is a good guy and should at least be able to point you in the right direction.
You may also want to try a shop on this list:

In order of preference I would probably pick Vision, GAS, AASE, or other... But be careful. Most of the guys that run these shops are addicted to racing and might talk you into taking your Boxsters racing.
