2000 S Engine For Sale-Porsche Reman
I haven't had time to drop this in the classifieds, but I need to get rid of an engine. It's a Porsche Reman 2000 Boxster S engine for manual trans. 3.2 Liter. As a Porsche Reman it carries a 2 year warranty. It was ordered for a customer, who then went with a 911 motor.

Not to go off in a different topic direction, but was the 911 motor a 3.4 or 3.6? My assumption is that the "host" is a 2000 S, and I keep reading inconsistencies about eGas, VarioCam, VarioRam, wiring harness/ECU incompatabilities.

How dare you go off in a different direction...just kidding.
The motor was a custom 3.6 with a custom Engine management system, so I can't answer the questions specifically about this swap. On any other swap, we've changed all of the electronics with the motor-probably for the very reasons you bring up.
