Default New Boxster

Does anyone have pics of the new boxster that looks like a mini carrera gt? I haven't seen one yet. If you do, thanks!

this is a photoshop version of what a future coupe might look like, if that is what you are talking about.

Not sure, but the release date (in the US) is for Jan/Feb. So that might be a great time to get a deal on new "old" models if you're interested. I doubt the new cars will have much of an effect (affect?) on the 4-5+ year old market. But I could be wrong!

The 987 (new Boxster) has been release here in the UK (end Nov). The prices of 986 have been coming down due to two major factors. 1. The new Boxster release. 2. Plenty of "competition" lately in this market sector (cars like the new Merc SLK, Nissan 350Z, Chrysler Crossfire, etc, etc) are erroding the legendary Boxster's domain. In 1997 when the Boxster was released these cars did not exist, except for the SLK which ws a joke!!

Plus sales of sports cars in general are way down. These are good times for buying used. I think the new SLK will hurt Boxster sales. The bargain-baby S2000 was no help either.

Did you see the Top Gear comparison between the new SLK and the new Boxster S? Read about it in the other thread.
