I was planning on waiting til I got the 951 back together and sold, but... the right deal came along. I picked it up today.

Non-dealership pics of it will be forthcoming when the weather clears (it's raining here in Illinois).
I drove it back from Chicago in the rain, and it handled well. It's much more comfortable that I thought it would be with the top up, and the visibility is excellent--the only thing that gave away that it wasn't a coupe was the wind noise, which did become annoying after the first hour. I wish the seat had more lumbar support--it felt and looked like the design hadn't been changed since my 951--but other than that it was comfortable. I had plenty of legroom, which I thought might be an issue.
I don't know if it is, but it felt heavier than my 951. Not unmanageably so, but definitely heavier.
Anyway, I'm excited to (hopefully) spend much more time driving a Porsche and less time wrenching on one. I'm going to miss my 951, but there's only room in the house for one.

Check the codes on the paint color, I think that's Ocean Blue. (I had an Ocean Blue '99 and it looked exactly like yours.) Not that it matters, really. It's a beautiful car no matter what the color is called.
Some quick and relatively inexpensive suggestions to update the looks...get some clear side marker lights ($25 just about anywhere) and some clear/red taillights (under $200 just about anywhere). On that dark colored car, it'll look VERY sharp.
Otherwise enjoy it to the fullest!
