Value for 00 Boxster S engine with 43000 miles?
No tranny. Planning to do engine upgrade within 12 months and wondering does it matter to sell the engine with 43K miles for more $$$? Or put more milesage for about the same.
Anyone could recommand a good shop in S. California for this task?

You might be able to get something for it. I wouldn't imagine much though. I think new engines form Porsche with warranty are $6 - 8K.
You can try the following shops (depending on location):

Mind Over Motorsports (San Diego - Mira Mar)
Mirage International (San Diego - PB)
