Default Engine check light

Who can help me in regards to my engine check light of my '03 Boxster S - my dealership tried to fix the problem already 4 times and is lost now. Obviously a sensor detects a vacuum which leads to the gascap, but the gascap has been replaced already twice - still no success.
Who had the same problem, who has some experience how to fix it? It must be something else than the gascap.
I appreciate any hint, thanks buddies!

Do you know the trouble code that your computer is throwing? What are the symptoms, if any, other than the check engine light? Other than the gas cap, there is a purge system that has several sensors and valves, any of which could be the problem. Any more info would be helpful.

Try another dealer that hopefully has better mechanics.

Second that.

I had an issue with the light a while ago. Something about some emissions junk under the right front fender that connected to the gas filler nozle and tank. Don't remember the whole story but fault code told the mechanic exactly what was up. Chances are the answer is right there on the computer, the mechanic just needs to know how to read it.
