Default My car is back. Please come and take a look.

The car need to go back for final touch up after 3 weeks. The gaps between panels still are not smooth and even. Some dusts/dirts also need to smooth out.

Tell me what you think. I will take it to somewhere for better shots in the future.

2000 Boxster S man tran with the following options:

OUTSIDE:

Polar Silver, 18" 996 wheels, Speedhumps, Aerokit II, Porsche Sport Exhaut, Painted bumber guards & side vent grills, Painted roll bar, clear side markers & brake light, Xenon lights, New rear plastic window, 5mm spacers with matching bolts and wheel locks.

INSIDE:

GT3 seats, Carbon Fiber interior, Traction control, wind stop, heated seats, B&M short shift, Pioneer AVH-p7500dvD with 100w Kenwood subwoofer plus exiting digital sound system. (more but don't remember)

wow beautiful car!

diggin the polar silver/speedster humps ( glad to see someone else has em ! )

looks like you've got nearly every aftermarket mod

how are the GT3 seats? i'm considering those, how much of a feel improvement do you get, and is it worth it over the stock seats?

beautiful!!!

Thumbs up

Sweet ride

How do you like the Pioneer 7500? I have the 6500 and I think it's awesome. I was really considering the 7500 at first but thought it would completely cover my AC vents, plus the sales guy said the 7500 is better suited for a SUV application since it has mulitiple pre-outs for other screens to be linked to the head unit. Do you have any interior shots? I would like to see what the GT3 seats look like in the Boxster.

Wow. Your exterior/interior color combination is exactly what I'm searching for.

Moogle........The GT3 seat give you a lot of feel about how the car's performance when cornering, Speeding up. It help you to relax your hand grip on the steerling wheel because seat hold the driver so well. Kind of give you more confidence. Is it comfortable? YES. But it depend on your body size, too. If you are on the big size....it may be too tight. However, it does lower clearance about 1.5 to 2 inches....good for tall guy.

Rich.... I see you on the run on Sunday at Malibu.

HBaruca.....I like the Pioneer alot. It is only one of the 2 non factory mods for my 986S, the other is B&M shift. The main purpose buying it because the VCD features. You are right about the pre-out feature...more suitable for van, suv or rv. Go back to the photo alblum to see how the interior look with GT3 seats. more shots will come.

Where did you place the subwoofer? My stereo guy is telling me to build a box with an 8" in the passenger footwell, but I'm hesitant because of space. Sound quality isn't lost with top down on LA freeways?

I have an '02 S triple black with TechArt 18" Formulas.

tommyscanner........I use Kenwook KSC-WA62RC subwoofer that you can buy it around $200 on Ebay. $100 (included good quality cable) for the tech to run the wire. If offer 100watt and pretty small size. A lot of juice/punch.

I place it right behind the driver seat. One problem, if you are very tall and use a lot of leg room. You might have a problem. The speaker need a leat 3.5 to 4 inches space.

opass...great idea! But I like my seat all the way back. I just checked the specs & it would've been great if it can go between the seats like the Viper. I'm running out of options & desperately want to upgrade the sound.
