OK guys - no harm, no foul.

I'm guessin' that Paul was just a bit miffed over me moving his post from the 928 forum.

Paul, as a Rennlist Member, you can post your car for sale in the Rennlist Classifieds at no cost. A great way to target a large diverse market.

Paul,

That took a lot to poke at another Porsche the way you did. A lot of what did I hear? A lot of disrespect for an outstanding vehicle, A lot of disrespect for a fellow enthusiest, A lot of self disrespect for the make of vehicle you drive. Just because you paid more for your car does not make it better then a 928. As a matter of fact my 85 Euro S will smoke your Boxster. How do I know? Because I have smoked Boxsters already. My car is a fraction of what yours cost, but why should I pay more to get better unless I wanted to look like every 4th weenie on the road. Before you diss someone or their property make sure your in a DB9 or a Gallardo first. Then speak like your sh*t don't stink. Otherwise join the forum with positive things to say.

Mmmmm...smoked Boxster.

Seriously though, I always felt the one thing about Porsche drivers was that we settled scores on the track, only dealing with inferior products on the street. Mustangs, Camaro/Firebirds, Hondas, Mazdas....all very cannibalistic in their ways. Lets try to rise above it and eat only lower life forms like the civilized people we are.

Unless of course there is a Boxster owner here in Tucson who is willing to challenge the elders...

JSerio .... I wish lonesome dove would drop into my neighbourhood, we'd have to teach him the wonders of the entire Porsche range, and perhaps especially the nice torquey V8 Porsche built. I've yet to find a Boxster that could muster 0-60 in 5.5 seconds, or 172mph.

I like Boxsters, they're beautiful Porsches. But there's a great reason to own other Porsches also.

Unless you put a big 911 engine in your boxter, you really wont have a chance against a simularly prepared 928, especially a 928 only 20 years old like mine! I agree, all this needs to be setted on the track and that has already happened. this very powerful and well prepared Boxter (with 911 engine) was several seconds behind the 20year old 928 with probably less prep. Hey, dont get me wrong, its a beautiful car, and very fast, but it did need a 911 engine to get it to its current level.

I love all porsches. (just some are cheaper to race than others) no money as a limit, you would see me driving a GT3!!

Lets face it , there was a reason porsche put the smaller engine in the Boxter, if they didnt, it would have got in the way of 911 sales. as you know, most of the front of the boxter is a 911! (and the "S" has the brakes and even more power, but still not to the 911 standards)

the 928 was the flagship up until '95. Not to many cars in the world can beat this 20year old car, even today. (better bring a viper or a GT3 if you want to run this old guy into the ground) Not to many cars can muster 400hp with only a set of headers and weigh 2650lbs by just gutting it!
(not to mention the ability to fit 305s and 275 size tires with No body work!)

Respect your elders!!

Hey, all in fun, right????
