Default Highbeam indicator stays on

Hello,

I recently replaced my halogen bulbs with LEDs, and since then, the high beam indicator on the dash cluster stays on. However, all the lights, including the high beams, are working properly. I’ve tried reseating the light assemblies and ensuring everything is secure, but the issue persists.

Do you have any insight into what might be causing this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Remove the LEDs from your high beams and replace them with halogens. Does the problem go away?

Thank you for the reply. I put the halogen bulbs back and problem is solved.

You’re welcome. If you want some really bright halogen bulbs for your high beams, I recommend the Philips Racing Vision. They have an H7 bulb, and I think it’s fantastic.

You might want to consider that, if you install brighter more heat generating halogens, they'll burn the lense inside the light fixture fairly fast to brown. There's plenty of images on the net of this issue. Lenses can be changed, but you have to open up the whole light fixture to do that.
