I will shortly be a new-to-me 2000S Boxster owner. The car does not have cruise control and I need it for orthopedic relief. Any suggestions on how to determine exactly what my Boxster will need? Different forums seem to say that because my car is a 2000, it will have e-throttle vs cable throttle, and that the job of installing the retrofit will be somewhat less complicated, and require fewer parts. Scott at Pelican Parts took my Vin # WPOCB2987YU664490 and said, according to that, my car supposedly has the control module (#99661702104) but not the 3-stalked column switch (#99661321910). Any suggestions on how to proceed much appreciated.
