Default Heat/AC Fan

Just getting ready to put the 2013 Boxster away for 4 months while we deal with the northern New York winter and I find when I shut the fan off it is still going strong. Then when I shut down the car it is still going strong and after waiting an hour it is still going.
I pulled the fuse last night so the car would start in the morning. How is it getting power? Am I dealing with a defective blower speed switch or is the ignition switch shorting or what.

Thanks,
Fred

If you have access to a wiring diagram, check the power distribution to that fuse. What other things are in it? They too should be powered up. Typically that fuse powers a relay or 2. If the other items don’t have power, suspect the relay (not very likely). You will probably find the circuit is powered by the ign switch when key is in on or run. If so, check the switch. I’ll check a diagram later and get back to you if you don’t have access.
