Too bad there has not been much interest on the car over the past 6 months he has been trying to sell it. Original sticker was 56k. I hate to see him take such a loss, but I guess Boxsters just don't hold their value all that well.

Boy thats a hit. I sure am glad I purchased mine in 02 with 9k showing. I saved about 10k from the sticker. Bad time, california car, and had a lot of nice equipment. Sticker was over 68k. Sure could have got it cheaper out of state and for sure now. I love the car so unless you really need to sell it, it dosent matter what the market does. Yep, I think ,boy if only I had.... but thats not reality. I havent seen another equipped like this and three people wanted it after I purchased it. I think the vale will hold over the long run. Good luck to your friend.
I would love a new 550 but it just wouldnt make any sense dollar wise. Why does he/she want to sell.
