Hi Guys,

Has anyone heard anymore info on the Boxster
coupe that is supposed to be out in 2006?

The last news I heard was that the new 987 convertible was supposed to debut in Germany early in 2005, with the coupe being late 2005. US sales should follow after that. So the coupe definitely appears to be a 2006 model. I have asked a few dealers and none have any sort of details for them yet.......most are tied up with the new 997 release. I have seen one or two dealers accepting deposits for the 987, but then again most any dealer will take money from you and sit on it even if they don't have a clue about the car yet......

I can not remember where, but I think I read that the 2006 will be a little larger with both the Boxster and Boxster S making more horsepower (but not alot) with better perfromance figures, (again not a big leap) and for the convertibales to first be available with the coupes becoming available half-way through the model year...
