Can't take out key and can't shift gear to park
So I brought my car into porsche to have a new key made. Battery of the car was dead. I was able to shift gears without needing the key (not sure why). So the car was in neutral in order to tow it to the shop (as I didn't have a key).
However, when they programmed the new key, the gear and key locked up. I was no longer able to shift to either reverse or park and we can't take out the key because the car is in neutral.
I feel that if they programmed the key with the car in park, none of this would be happening, but now they're asking for a 500$ diagnostic fee when I'm 90% sure it's their fault.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
