Three Wheelin'
I thought the car thieves were all busy with Hyundai and Kia? Speaking of getting your insurance cancelled.
This tread reminds me that I have never exercised the emergency key to unlock my 2013 Boxster S. Remember a thread where someone tried his and found it was broken. Car is ready for the first DE in March. Will have to watch the weather forecast for Summit Point and decide if I put on the 18s with RS4s or leave on the PZeros.

You can unplug the horn if you're dealing with a tow to the dealer. It's right next to the battery and there's a convenient clip. This may be a more convenient solution than unplugging the battery although with no keys whatsoever how are you even going to get it loaded onto a tow truck? Hopefully it's a manual? I don't know what could be done with an auto. I'm imagining the tow truck operator backing the ramp down under the front wheels to get to the rears and then dragging it the rest of the way? Geez...
It's such a common headache that I pop the frunk in both my Cayman and Boxster (both 987s) after parking in the garage. I never leave them outside. One time removing the FL wheel on each of them was enough for me, thanks. In the garage, I always leave the driver-side window down as well. These cars are sometimes a PITA to own. The frunk is necessary for trickle charging anyway so having it open in case the car panics is helpful. I think just being informed and planning for these annoying idiosyncrasies is part of the ownership experience.
