Depending on how much the summer tires were worn, I don't know if I would bother storing them- the DWS 06 are pretty good for summer grip. The question becomes how much will it cost to swap them back and forth vs how much extra life you'll get by saving the old ones. If you find it's worth saving them, I would think as long as they're out of the weather it should be fine. Don't think tire warehouses bother with any kind of special storage conditions. I've stacked snow tires for years with no ill effects.
