Possible the 2003 Boxster S came with 5 speed manual transmission?

Looking at the link to this pretty good resource, it seems unlikely porsche would build a 5 and 6 speed manual. Buddy of mine is looking at the 2003 S and Seller is saying it comes with 5 Speed Manual Trans. Do these exist??

Thanks Bruce ! Will check that out and will be checking out the trans here Friday morning to see if that part number is g2g! Wow. Yeah I could have sworn I my research some mid 2000 5 speed Audi cars had the same tranny as well but tail end was modded so I see how the early 5 speeds on 996 were also vw/Audi sourced as well. Thank you Tony in El Paso.

Tip was a 5 speed automatic with steering wheel button shifters and also manual mode on the trans stick itself. Had 2. Love them for in traffic use. Not bad for long trips either. Not purist approved but I didn't care.
