Default Boxster S vs. Boxster S 550 SE...any other differences?

Anybody know if there are any differences between the new 550 Special Edition Boxster S and the regular Boxster S of the same year besides cosmetic differences....maybe like sport chassis standard or lighter curb weight???

The 10 MM lower is not for US spec, just rest of the world.

Default yes, it does have sport chassis and 18" wheels..

..as well a 5mm spacers. One other think is the sound from this car is much more of a growl, than my sport muffler equipped '02 2.7 had.

the sound is from a new air intake also responsible for the 6+ bhp in addition to some teeny tweaks to the ecu valve timing

That's great to know. Where did you read that? I'd like to read more if it's available.

Just sold one to a customer from Ohio last week. I'm a 993 & 996 owner and was very impressed with the way porsche setup this car. Many differences, too many to list. I have it on paper but it's a full page long and I don't feel like typing it. There are a lot of cosmetic differences, however, there are several mechanical as well. I think the major ones were touched on earlier.

I'll look thru my list and add anything missed.

Jim
