Currently looking at an '04 S manual with 125k miles but it received a M97 S engine from Niello Porsche in 2008 (20k miles ago) due to IMS engine failure.

Looking for honest/reputable shops near Kent/Renton areas for PPI.

What are you doing shopping for a Boxster out there?

If you don't find a shop, Macster will probably chime in with his excellent pre-purchase checklist. If he doesn't, do a search and you'll find it.

These cars are the Toyota Tercels of Porsche; with a modicum of care and reasonable exercise, they'll last forever. Even some fairly serious-seeming issues are very easy DIY fixes.
