Default Difference between CDR-220 BE4462 and BE-6625?

I cannot find much online about the specs of these models. Anyone know what the difference is?

mikefocke's recommendation to contact Becket is really your best option in finding out what the technical differences are, but I did come across an old post at one point in time on another forum, and in general:
  • BE-4462 was designated for use in MY99-01 Carrera/Boxster
  • BE 6625 was designated for use in MY02 Carrera/Boxster

They both use the same wiring hardness and theoretically should be plug and play. As for the actual technical differences, Becker would be able to answer for you.

Thanks guys. Guess I will give them a call. I was mainly asking because I am looking to add a Bluetooth adaptor to the stock head unit and found that I am asked which model I have. Wondering if there is a technical difference that makes the adaptors compatible with one and not the other.

Another option is to call Crutchfield's and ask what adapter they sell fits your radio setup, They have a long history of Porsche installs and offer wiring kits to ease installations along with instructions.
