Aos removal

Default Aos removal

Hi i was going to remove aos yesterday to change cam sensor bank 1, got halted by the two 10mm bolts on the aos bracket as pretty rusted, has anyone had this is so how did they go about it please as very little room in there and dont want to snap the head off

I went at those bolts from the wheel well. Soak them in Aerokroil.

Like Shawn said, get to them from underneath. Soak them first if they are corroded. PB Blaster, or whatever. Soak them a couple of times and let sit.

When I replaced mine, I just snapped em off. The bracket on the AOS is plastic. The bolt on place is aluminum.
