I am in the process of cleaning up an ‘03 glass window top that I recently acquired from a salvage yard, and plan on installing on my ‘02 base. Upon removing the headliner I found the (2) straps that hold the 4th bow in place still flexible but a a little dry. See pic below

I’m trying to avoid a scenario where the top is installed and over time one or both of these straps fail.
Anyone have any ideas on what treatments are available to recondition these straps?
