Default What bolts to the engine lift point?

Putting my car back together and I am wondering if anything bolts to the nut that is on the engine lift point near the throttle body. I bought the car with a bunch of items removed already, so it wasn't anything I unbolted. A little browsing through Google's images seems to show the nut unoccupied. And somewhat related; do the shifter cables just drape over the engine? Or do they get secured anywhere between the transmission and their little tunnel at the front engine access hole?

Seem like there is a small "brace bracket" that helps support the T/B, tossed mine years ago.

I do still have a spot the throttle body bolts to, it's lower down on that same piece of steel I think.
