Default At what RPM? Under what conditions?

First gear wound up? Fifth at 2000 RPM?

Warm engine? Just started?

When was the last time it ran correctly?

Anything done to it since it ran correctly?

Just out of hibernation? Stored inside? Rodents around? Looked for obvious chew marks?

JUST PURCHASED THE CAR WITH SINGLE OWNER, CLEAR CAR FAX AND LOW AVERAGE MILES. HAPPENS WHEN ENGINE WARM AND USUALLY HAPPENS WHEN I STOP AT A LIGHT OR STOP SIGN AND ATTEMPT TO DRIVE OFF.
INDEPEDENT SHOP LOOKED AT IT WITH A TECH LINKED UP IN THE CAR AND WHEN IT HAPPENED THERE WERE NO FAULT CODES.

So you didn't test drive it before you bought it? And didn't have a PPI done?

Problem did not surface in 30 minute test drive. No ppi. I will get this sorted out, but had hopes that someone on the forum had experienced the a similar problem. Thanks

I experienced a TIP not shifting correctly when the tire pressure was way off.

Thanks... tire pressure was fine but finally solved it with a new throttle pedal. Works like a charm now.

Happy to hear that the problem was fixed. I would have lost a lot of sleep over something like that.
