I bought a new set of Headlights, the whole insert, for my 01 Boxster S. The passenger assemble slid and clicked right in. I tried to install the drivers side and cant get it to lock into position. It fits perfect but wont lock in. I spent a few hours on this and gave up. I returned the light for a new one assuming it is defective and now the replacement wont even work. I put the old one back in and it click without even trying. Anyone else have this problem yet?

Yeah, sometimes they can be a real bear. All I can say is just keep trying, move in, move out, move in, move out. Sooner or later it will pop in.

I agree, keep trying until you get it. It will eventually lock in.

My wife gives me that same advise. I dont think she knows about the car problem though.

She popped in !!! Finally I said screw it and put all my weight into in and shoved it in and then it snapped in to lock position. I can now consider myself a Porsche Mechanic ! after I find the oil filter that is !
