WHEEL FITMENT
Hi guys, I'm in the middle of giving my boxster s an overhaul and one of things I'm doing are replacing the hideous stock chrome wheels that came on the car(now sold them) with a set of euromeister 18 inch wheels I just bought, mounted on 275 rears, and 235 fronts. The ET is 52mm front and 54mm rear. I'm also ordering a set of lowering springs for cleaner look. I wanted to know what is the maximum offset that a boxster can handle? Lets say I put a 15mm spacer front and rear and the offset was not 37mm front 39mm rear. Would this be acceptable on a stock 02 boxster(s)? Thanks,
Justin.
Justin.

so i figured id run a 40 offset front, 42 rear with a 12mm spacer front and rear. would i need 40mm shank lug nuts front and 42mm nuts in the rear to compensate for the offset?

okay thank you, could I get away with running a 42 offset rear though? I’ve seen others run 44 and up before. Also what size lug nuts would I need? For the fronts If I ran a 40 offset for example would I then need a 40mm size lug nut to compensate? I know I need longer lug nuts I’m just confused by the sizes sorry. Thank you for the reply
