Do some searching here and at '986Forum.com'. There are a few write ups about this issue. The little nozzle '*****' pop out when the socket they sit in gets cracked, a very common issue in colder climates with freeze/thaw cycles. Unfortunately the nozzles themselves are not available separately, you have to buy the entire nozzle assembly at close to $200 bucks each. There is a hack out there to buy a BMW based nozzle assembly at a fraction of the cost and cannibalize the '*****' but I tried it and the ***** shot out the first time I used the sprayer. I simply took out the fuse to the sprayer and live with it just like cars without headlight cleaners.

The day I test drove the 2004 S that I own I inadvertently hit the headlight wasters and both nozzles on one side went flying and were never found again. The seller did replace the washer, but as a result of that experience I never use the headlight washers,

Default Here's your solution:

These just pop right into place on the Boxster

$28.

I did it.

Been in place for two years now and haven't blown out yet.

Enjoy!

Yep, those are the ones I bought as well. They do 'pop right in' but for me, they 'popped right out' the first time I used them.

I forgot to mention that I put a drop of red Loctite on mine before popping them into place.

Like I said, still in place after 20,000 miles.

Good luck.
