I want to replace the 3 button remote that came with my Boxster (first picture) with the central locking, front boot and back boot buttons with a key with the housing from the Carrera GT (second picture) or Porsche design key (third picture) I was just curious if the electronics from the 2 button remotes can be programmed to a car that takes a 3 button remote normally I imagine the circuit is basically the same just without the rear boot button, I can live with occasionally manually releasing the rear boot the few times I need it in return for a much nicer key housing. Also if possible what are peoples opinions on the other two key designs for a Boxster, I prefer the colour scheme of the 911 key more but think the 911 written on the key kind of makes it feel off for a Boxster whereas GT is also a more general car term so doesn't feel as specific to a Carrera GT that the key comes from however I'm not as keen on the colour scheme having a black interior with silver trim?
