Wow... that's a lot of curbing for an autocross. Do you get a lot of broken cars in your region? Or is this back to the "it's a PCA autocross- we don't need any courseworkers because nobody ever hits a cone" thing where you were the only driver anywhere near the limit?

They setup some real tight courses near the curbs. There has been an incident recently with damage from a curb hit. You have to be careful and keep some reserve. Quite a difference from the SCCA events I have done.

Me, either; I would have turned around and gone home if I saw that course. I can't believe PCA did that; the course design was awfully tight for a PCA course, too. When you have to hold back that much to avoid hitting cubs, it's no longer an autocross, just driving in a parking lot. SCCA is strict about 25' minimum from things like curbs, and further in situations when you're carrying speed or liable to spin- you can't drive at the limit if you're worried about the consequences of making a mistake, and driving right at the limit is what autocross is all about.

I like the part where the concrete base of a light pole forms the inner boundary of the corner. You gotta be brave to backside that bad boy.

I took top pax today at RIR Was closer than I'd prefer to some of the light poles, but definitely a safe layout.

Top pax / 2nd raw at my SCCA region today I'm told on one of my other runs that I hit a cone that flipped up in the air and landed right back in the box. Really wish I had the camera facing backwards for that one. Mostly, I'm just happy that all drivers had nearly dry conditions for all runs; the weather was really iffy. Even more wishing I was at nats right now.

My fastest run at Front Range Airport outside of Denver. We had 180 folks so a fun day.

I took overall top index with my SCCA region today, and clinched the club overall championship with it! Big milestone for me, and 7 years in the making Feel like I'm finally getting fast. Looking forward to 2016!

Was a really fast course, the fastest we've had yet this year. The rain was (fortunately) light enough to not be a factor. My heat was the only heat where it rained, and only the last run felt slick.

One event left this year with the other local club... looking forward to that one, too.
