I took 2nd place overall this weekend out of 108 entrants, the most people we've ever had at an event at Pungo, and my best finish ever with this club Several contributing factors, but I'll take it! We're all really looking forward to getting back to ACU4 in May.

Small course in 40 degree weather is better than no racing.

After getting clobbered so bad two weeks ago it felt really good to get a class win and 12th overall on PAX.

We're finally back at ACU4 (Navy hovercraft site), and man, felt so good to be back. Weather was fantastic and the course was a really fun one that took full advantage of the site. This wasn't my fastest run and definitely wasn't "clean", but was certainly the most entertaining, and amazingly enough, I managed to stay on course and not hit any cones, and I believe I was in 2nd overall as of this run; a few people bested me after that- I'm not surprised as I'm on street tires on concrete and pax is not kind to street class this year- but I had a lot of fun and that's really what keeps me coming back.
