I'm so happy we're back at ACU4! Just wish I'd had nicer weather during my competition runs, as the course was still quite wet; my fun-run times were quite a bit faster. (Was playing around with PSM a bit, too.)
That car appears to slalom like an animal. Now I want a Boxster.
I actually thought the slaloms on this course were a bit too open- I was able to stay on full throttle coming out of the corners and hold it until the last cone; only had to give it up to brake for the following elements. But yeah, my Boxster S loves slaloms Bone stock except for a GT3 front swaybar set 2nd to softest; don't even have M030 suspension.
West course at the Solo nationals. Good enough for 4th in class on the the first day, then we went to the power course the next day, and slid further down!
My son has been co-driving my car all this year and has been creeping up on me. At the last event he finally got me and the had the 3rd fastest time of the day. I guess I'm proud of him. He seems to learn a lot faster than I do.
People used to SCCA safety regulations should not watch. I had a fair amount of pucker factor running this, and that's trying to leave some safety margin on the table.

That looks awesome! I bet it was a lot of fun. I wonder how many complaints they got about it though...
It was my first time running with them, but I was talking to one of the organizers and he said people go nuts over this event. They cap the entry limit and it always fills up. Kind of makes me feel good to know not everything is the United States of Litigation.
