Cabin fever yet?
I know I've got it bad. The car sits in the garage, the snow sits on the driveway, I sit on the web.
So, if you're as bored as I am and are in the mid-atlantic, why not get a jump on the crowd and register for CPA-PCA events in Hershey PA.

Here in San Diego we have already had our first AX event with over 100 drivers and the next one is 2-12.
Come on down for some fun.
I shouldn't rub in the weather in the 60's and 70's this weekend

I have one already made up but not complete yet. Still missing correct dates for BSCC and NE-SVT, dates I have so far overlap other clubs. SCCA has not posted dates yet either. TCUSA has their correct dates posted, so far. Some date trading between clubs happens I guess.
now I need to find brey-krause harness bar somewhere for cheap. can`t wait to see results...
Not even a schedule published yet...I'm dying. I may have to sign up for SCCA.
I've heard SCCA isn't very porsche friendly...but honestly...I don't have any intentions of winning...I just love driving my *** off. What are your thoughts for you guys in it ?

I think you might be taking what you've heard the wrong way, as every SCCA region I've seen loves to see Porsches autocross. That reputation comes from how they class Porsches, nothing more. There aren't any SCCA classes where a Porsche is an overdog, but they're still classed fairly and if you're a good driver, you'll be competitive at the local level. If you're simply out for fun... it really doesn't matter, does it? It's going to be fun regardless of how you do
Absolutely, NASA and a lot of independent clubs as well. There are variations in classing and some variations in rules (different insurance companies mean a DOT or older SNELL helmet might be OK with one club but not another), but always involve driving fast around cones and getting timed. Most of the indies I've raced with use SCCA classing (if your 996T meets stock class requirements, you'd be SS - super stock for SCCA). I autocross with four different clubs in my area, including NASA and SCCA and two independents. PCA usually only does one autocross a year here; year before last, they did it joint with BMW club, but they didn't do any last year, which stinks. I end up doing about 2 autocrosses a month on average.
If you see autocrosses at Michelin's Black Lake in South Carolina, jump on that, it's worth the drive.

Currently I have only 7 weekends..........................that I am not running. Out of a 7 month season. 10 weekends that I am running are both days. 33 events so far. About what I did last year. First event is April 2.
