Is the event geared toward all out competition or there will be newbies as well?

I have only started doing autoX this year (no prior experience) and have done 4 events w/ the CVR region.. a lot of fun, but I'm pretty slow.. so just trying to figure out if I should sign up...

Why go so far away? Devens is so close to you. This is a zone competition event and I doubt if instructors are allowed, but not to worry about being new to the sport. Everybody you will meet was a noob when they started. Ride alongs are not allowed either. As far as I know you can register and drive? For us members in the NCR region, and NER too, this event also counts towards season finals. There were noobs last year I think. Send an email to Don.
I still have noob memories of the RS engine screaming and seing the course workers scattering as I approached.

The worst is just embarrassing myself out there, so no big deal.. ha ha! Thanks for the response. I will probably sign up!

Local BMW club has a ton of new 12" cones. Supposed to be a softer to hit. Downside is that if you just nick them, they fly out of the box and do not make a sound. I hit them all morning yesterday and not myself or my passenger knew where.
