A very nice send off this past saturday for autocross icon John Macdonald. Aprx 100 people showed up at the Elks club in Worcester MA to celebrate his life and share some stories of his exploits. He will be missed as a course designer, master instructor, institutional resource, and friend to many an auto crosser. God speed John.

 

Rest in peace, John. Your instruction and hard work was greatly appreciated.

 

Johnny Mac would have loved the get together on Saturday. I somehow felt him smiling somewhere. A good man who will be missed by many.

Though we will not see him this year up at Devens he will be with us in spirit.

 

I was not able to attend but took a moment to stop and say a prayer. He will be missed. I enjoyed working with him in tech and doing the course walk.

We cry not for their loss but for what we have lost.
