Makes sense. I go through more used tires than new tires myself. If this is your plan, then once again I would give the nod to Kumho V710s over the Hoosier A6. Most of these tires measure their life span in heat cycles (going from ambient, to max operating, back to ambient again) and will begin to loose grip before they actually run out of tread or "cord". The Kumho delivers a greater number of heat cycles before losing grip than the A6 (at least double). So, when buying used, it is more likely to find the Kumho that delivers better performance than the Hoosier.
But again, no real bad choices here. I put some mildly used A6s on for a DE last weekend and was impressed with how well they worked. They started fading after about 5 laps but I expected that being an A6 vs R6.
Have fun!
