I don't like Devens because the noise limits are too low to run most Porsches.

Too low for most or too low for yours? I haven't seen anybody a single Porsche get knocked out because of sound.

There's a guy that runs a 356 speedster with an open exhaust, never heard any complaints. In fact, I think it sounds great!! I am not alone :-)

I ran my 996 GT3 with cat bypass pipes, quite loud. Not a problem.

2 SCCA National tours, and 1 PCA Zone 1, a shorter 2nd gear that kept the engine screaming, and not a problem.

There were louder cars, and they all passed.

Never seen anyone kicked out of Devens for noise violation. There was one cocky a-hole old honda civic driver (always has 0 for his number) I wanted out, but he was 10db under and he was running open exhaust.
