Lets see how this shakes out. There are maybe 15 car classifications, and men's and women's divisions too. There are maybe 40 drivers signed up the last I heard? This will make for a very interesting cone penalty. With so few course workers we will be required to set the cones that we hit. 2 second penalty plus the time it takes to set your cones. Run clean or run away.

We'll be there. Should be at least a dozen drivers from Metro NY.

i am going as is one of my friends from Long Island. I'm not pre-reg'd. Don't know if he is either.

It'll be my first autocross in my PCA D-class club race car and first autocross in four years.

I'm looking forward to meeting you guys.

Anyone know what the parking lot is like? My car is pretty low.

Good question!! As it is only 5 minutes from my house I will take a ride over there and report back maybe even with pics I believe we will be using an overflow lot (read: hardly ever used) the rest of the general parking lot is in great shape, so I can only imagine this area is as well. I'll keep ya'll posted.

OK, I went by the lot last night. Big lot, pavement is great, no debris, no cracks, no sand or grass. However, there are light posts which I thought was a No No. If I had to guess they are about 100 meters apart square. There are a couple different lots there but they pretty much the same layout. There is plenty of room to run safely between the posts. I just hate to think ....well, I just won't go there. It's Heaven compared to where we usually run!!

Again, I'll try to get pics.

very cool.

100 meters apart...damn, you could run an entire autocross inside a box defined by four of these posts. sounds like plenty of room.

thanks for doing this.

Keeping my fingers crossed, weather is looking good. Wifey and I are now both running in Production with the C2S.

Well, as I mentioned, there are a couple of lots this size @ six flags but I believe this is the most likely where we will run. It has it's own gated entrance from the others and is essentially, always empty. Considering our usual lot is about 1/10th of this, I'm psyched!! Looking fwd to meet ya'll please come by an say hi. My car is my avatar #353 and I'm sure will be the only 912 there!!

I'll be running in I01M, anyone else in there with me?

BTW - any of you 'away' racers, I am happy to lend a garage, tools and assistance if anyone has a mechanical issue during the w/e. As I mentioned, I live less than 10minutes from the site. Right between the hotel and Six Flags.

Brgds, Peter

Looks good and flat, not a lot of oil spots either.

OT but I just saw this in the random pic thread. Looks to be from Six Flags.

Above pic reminded me of when wifey went for a ride along earlier this summer, after gulping down a bottle of fruit protein drink. I got a RR and before I could get back in line she made me stop the car and she got out with a NO.
