Default AutoX Tire Sizes

I have a set of 16X8 (for the rear) and 16X7 for the front (all Fuchs) on an 85.5 944. I have finally settled on a set of Kuhmo V-700's all the way around. Is it "safe" for these tires to see some limited street, i.e. driving o track and back?

yes. I drive Victoracers in the street and have driven v700 and 710s as far as 80 miles
each way to events.

V700 Victoracers would be fine. I've heard that heat cycles kill the V710 pretty quickly and would avoid street use if possible.

I called kumho about 710 heat cycles, and the temperature required
to qualify as a heat cycle is high enough that it would never experience
that in commute-speed driving.

I guess some folks "commuting" styles are different

I have over 1,000 street miles on a set of Kumho V710 and 140 autocross laps.

The tires still have a lot of grip. FTD on run 139th. They're stored right now, due to a new set we needed for last week.

The key, don't push them a lot on the streets.
