Default Suspension Setup

Can anyone suggest a good suspension setup
for autocross on my 89 951. The suspension is stock except for 968 M030 sway bars front and rear. I don't drive the car on the street much at all so don't care if the setup isn't that great for street driving. I'm having a 4 wheel alignment done and need camber, caster and toe settings.
Any and all advise would be welcome.
Thanks
Tim

Tim,

Are you going to be at the next autox? I will stop by and say hi. BTW, who is doing your alignment? If you want a good competition alignment, see Jerry Onks (Silver Z06). It is expensive (about $200) but he spends about 3 hours getting it done right. I have a green Miata and usually run in CS #13.

Yes Jerry did the alignment on friday it took about 4 hrs. It was off quite a bit so I can't
wait to see how it affects my times at the next
autox.

What class are you competing in? With what car club?

my personal opinion but a 951 doesn't make a great autox car. not enough torque for those tight corners and the boost just brings your tail around. i used to have one. even with chips, boost enhancers and a modified blow off valve you can't get the consistent power when you need it.

they make great track cars though.

just my 2 cents.

cheers,
boris
