I have a 2012 Cayenne with PCM. I have always been frustrated with my iPhone connection using USB. When it works it's great. However, I often need to switch out of iPod as my source for several seconds and then go back to iPod to get it to work. This usually happens the first time I connect it while driving and then randomly if I switch songs. Any good solutions?

I find the bluetooth connection even worse.
