Default Slide-out Screen AV Tuner in 993?

Having been spoiled by cars with Bluetooth, back-up camera, Navi, Sat Rad, etc., I'm missing those features in my Targa. A unit like the Clarion noted below would solve all of the above.

Has anyone seen a tuner/system like this Clarion with slide-out screen installed in a 993? http://www.crutchfield.com/p_020NZ50...ion-NZ503.html

Kenwood & another company also make similar. The problem in our 993's is that the 1-DIN radio opening is recessed within the kneepad (below) and the upper dash. A rough measurement indicates that the screen would have to come out about 3 inches from the unit when in vertical position to be visible in a 993. And, it would cover the rear defroster switch (still reachable), fog light switch and cigarette lighter (doesn't matter). Problem is the a/c outlet, as the 7" diagonal screen would block part of the outlet. I could deal with it if I could find a unit on which the screen can remain out about 3".

In lieu of a unit like this, does anyone have any suggestions other than separate GPS and rear-view mirrors like this: the 50-GENK3345S ($659) at: http://mito-auto.com/index.php?optio..._category_id=1

Any suggestions would be appreciated. And, since I want to keep my Targa as close to "as delivered," I want to be able to easily reverse any mods.

Thanks in advance.
