Default Fair price for Apogee Duetta Signatures, cables & Aragon 24K?

I have a pair of these I bought new in 1991, along with the Aragon amp & pre amp that drove them and the cables we used.
We're building a new house, my wife doesn't want speakers that "stick out from the wall" again and my ears are shot anyhow.
A guy I work with wants to buy them and I'm trying to figure out a fair price.
Speakers are almost as new, in original boxes in "anthracite". Sound field is amazing. Not many come up for sale, so it's been hard to comp them.
I've seen the 24Ks go for between $300-600 online.
So, what's a fair price? $2500? More? Less?
Thoughts? Thanks.

I am a huge fan of Apogees-Nice speakers! They could probably handle much more of an amp than the Aragon but I am sure it worked well.
This is just my 2 cents from forever cruising Audiogon and CList:
I wasn't sure if you were pricing out the whole system or individual components. If the speakers are in the condition you mention, you could probably start at $2400 and entertain offers. As far as Aragon pricing-You only mentioned the preamp-I assume you have the 4004 MKII as the amp (I did not see the amp mentioned)? I have seen 24K's go for closer to the $300 side vs $600. If you have a 4004, then I would say maybe $550-$650, depending on condition. I have owned the 24K and 4004 MKII in the past as well-good stuff. GLWS!

I'll check which model - I can't remember. It's amp & preamp - both are stored for now. I was thinking $2500 for all 3 and the cables.
From what you say, Sounds pretty fair.
Thanks for the info. I'll update on Aragon model when I get a chance.

The amp says 4004 dual mono amplifier and it feels like it weighs at least 600 pounds, maybe 1000...

They are heavy for sure-about 70Lbs if I remember. Of course that is kind of light compared to an old Krell KSA 250 at about twice that!

If you look on the back of amp, there should be a tag-if it says "MKII", you have the most recent version.
