cr-1 backlight
I probably should have posted in the audio forum first... sorry for the double post.
Anyway, I've got a cr-1 with a backlight that won't turn off in my 94 911 C2, regardless of anything other than disconnecting the battery. Is this normal behavior? I don't have any frame of reference as this car is new to me...
Thanks!

Hi ! I recently bought a 993 ( Japan import, C2 , 1995) with a CR-1 radio. Unfortunately the radio reception in FM mode is very limited ( ends at 89.0). Do you have a pdf copy of the owners manual or know how to extend the radio reception up to around 107.0 ?? Thanx a lot in advance and best regards from Dubai ! Isabell

It is possible to just have the internal tuner pack changed to a North American one but but again depends on the design for that market so it's probable easier to just look for an American 993 oem radio.
