I have a pair of JBL L100S speakers which I love. I bought them when I was in the Air Force stationed in Okinawa Japan. I have had them for almost 20 years. 12" woofer, 5.5" mid, 3" titanium tweeter.
They aren't sounding like they used to. I am looking for where I can get information on what parts would be good to replace. The foam on the woofers is starting to pull away so I know I need to refoam those. All the speakers seeem to be working OK, I just don't know if the connection posts, internal cables, or other items should/can be replaced.
Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Just a guess on my part but on vintage speakers the capacitors in the crossovers may be bad and need re capping. 20 years is about all a cap is good for really. Leaky, bad caps will sound like crap. Not a bad job...just replace with like value caps.
