Denon Turntable?
I'm considering getting back into LPs. I saw a Denon DP-A100 turntable ($2500). Denon brought it out to celebrate 100 years of Denon making turntables. Does anyone have any experience with this table? How good is this turntable? I realize at $2500 there are other turntables from well known companies.

I'm sure its a great TT. But like you said at $2500 that opens the door to SOOOO many quality TT's. My personal opinion is belt drive tables produce less noise than direct drive tables....but that's just my opinion.
At $2500 you are in some very good company. VPI, Linn and dozens more.
I do know I've heard good things about Denon's past TT's. They have a good reputation as far as I know.

I am not familiar with the new release of the Denon table but as others said $2500 opens many doors. There is a wealth of excellent equipment on the used market. Also consider that you need to decide what type of cartridge you want. MM would be the easiest cheapest approach and low and medium output MC will require a phono stage. There are some very nice tables I prefer my drive units to be separate from the plinth and preferable a DC motor with speed control but that starts costing extra.
there is a very nice VPI listed in this forum with a benz cartridge might be worth taking a look at if it hasn't sold.
Not sure why dean didn't mention it unless it has already sold. https://rennlist.com/forums/8288773-post7.html
