Default I did not see an "introduce yourself" forum, so I thought I'd say hi here.

Because Audio and my 911 are my two favorite things.

So, me. I now own a 997 Mark 2? C4S with the power kit, sport chrono, SPASM, sport seats, black full leather interior, 6 speed manual, red seatbelts, Aero Kit, Arctic Silver with Black Interior and Black Carrera Sport wheels.

My audio gear currently consists of my iMac, an RME Fireface 400 or a Wavelength Audio Cosecant DAC, to a Cary SLI-80 Signature F1 Triode only from Upscale Audio pushing either a pair of Sennheiser HD800's or a pair of Focal Electra 1007be speakers. I also have a quite large vinyl collection. Turntable is a Technics SL1200, highly modified, a Hagerman Cornet2 Phonostage, a Piccolo step up, and a Lyra Delos cartridge.

So thats me, and this forum brings together the two reasons I get up to go to work every day.

Welcome DrJay. Nice gear on both ends! Focals have been piqueing my interest lately, I have some in my car and can only imagine what their home gear sounds like in proper cabinets.

I did consider Cary before deciding to go with my McIntosh.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

IMO, the Focal Be speakers are great, very neutral, easy to drive, and great fun to listen to. The Cary sounds gorgeous, and is great for tube-rolling.

Someday, when I put together a bigger system I may buy different gear, but this is what I have now. Actually listening to it right now.

I am sure they sound great, but personally I prefer the music coming out the tailpipes when in the car...

I have upgraded from the Focal 1007be speakers to the 1008be speakers... They are so damn close to perfect it's as if they were handed down by god himself...
